peanut butter fudge

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (chopped)

Instructions:


  1. Melt Chocolate (Optional):
    If making the chocolate peanut butter version, melt chocolate and let it cool. Skip this step if not using chocolate.

  2. Mix Ingredients:

    • For the chocolate version: Combine cooled chocolate with cream cheese and peanut butter.
    • For the non-chocolate version: Mix cream cheese and peanut butter together.
  3. Add Sugar and Vanilla:
    Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix well, then chop and add the nuts.

  4. Spread Mixture:
    Spread the mixture into an 8" or 9" square pan. Optionally, place a nut on each square for decoration.

  5. Refrigerate:
    Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving. Enjoy!
