Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips Directions by Veronica

Ingredients:

Fruit Salsa:


  • 2 large Golden Delicious apples
  • 3 Kiwi
  • ½ lb Strawberries
  • 6 oz. raspberries
  • 6 oz. blackberries
  • 2 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp raspberry preserves

Cinnamon Chips:

  • Flour tortillas
  • Butter-flavored cooking spray
  • 2 cups cinnamon sugar mixture (less cinnamon than sugar)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fruit:

    • Dice the apples, Kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
  2. Mix the Salsa:

    • Combine all diced fruit in a bowl.
    • Add white sugar, brown sugar, and raspberry preserves. Mix well.
  3. Prepare the Cinnamon Chips:

    • Cut flour tortillas into fourths.
    • Spray each side of the tortilla with butter-flavored cooking spray.
    • Dip each side in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Bake the Chips:

    • Arrange the coated tortillas flat on a cookie sheet.
    • Bake at 350°F for 7-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
