I decided to cook a healthy meal using only what I could find in the house…
Chicken Pineapple dinner
Gather Ingredients:
- One onion (the tears are optional)
- One tablespoon curry powder (for a bit of spice in your life)
- One can of pineapples (because why not?)
- One tablespoon ginger (not the hair color, the spice!)
- One tablespoon garlic (to keep the vampires away)
- Two chicken breasts (not from the local pub)
- Two tablespoons salsa (for a cheeky twist)
- One can of butter beans (because they’re just delightful)
Chop Ingredients: Cut all ingredients into pleasing sizes. Try not to chop your fingers off—those are not part of the recipe!
Sauté Base: In a pot, sauté ginger, garlic, onion, and curry powder together. It should smell so good that even the neighbors might pop round for a sniff.
Add Remaining Ingredients: Toss in chicken breasts, pineapples, salsa, and butter beans. Make sure they’re all getting along—no culinary arguments allowed!
Cook: Stir until everything is cooked through. Feel free to make dramatic chef gestures; it adds flair!
Serve: Serve the meal with couscous (Joel chose this because rice is so last season).
