Directions for Cooking Yellow Wax Beans
Gather the ingredients:
- 1 1/4 lbs fresh yellow wax beans
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup crushed Ritz crackers or Townhouse crackers (about 6 crackers)
- Salt and freshly ground Black pepper
Boil a pot of salted water.
Add the yellow wax beans to the boiling water.
Cook the beans until they are tender (not crispy).
Drain the beans.
In the same pot, add 2 tablespoons of butter to the drained beans.
Mix until the butter melts completely.
Add 1/4 cup of crushed crackers, salt, and freshly ground Black pepper.
Stir to combine all ingredients.
Serve and enjoy!
