Yellow Wax Beans


  Directions for Cooking Yellow Wax Beans

  1. Gather the ingredients:

    • 1 1/4 lbs fresh yellow wax beans
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 1/4 cup crushed Ritz crackers or Townhouse crackers (about 6 crackers)
    • Salt and freshly ground Black pepper
  2. Boil a pot of salted water.

  3. Add the yellow wax beans to the boiling water.

  4. Cook the beans until they are tender (not crispy).

  5. Drain the beans.

  6. In the same pot, add 2 tablespoons of butter to the drained beans.

  7. Mix until the butter melts completely.

  8. Add 1/4 cup of crushed crackers, salt, and freshly ground Black pepper.

  9. Stir to combine all ingredients.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
