Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond flour, fine and light,
- 1/4 tsp sea salt, just right,
- 3/4 cup sugar, sweet and neat,
- 1/3 cup melted butter, a tasty treat.
- 1 cup heavy cream, to whip and fold,
- 8 oz. cream cheese, creamy and bold,
- 1 tsp vanilla, for flavor's cheer,
- 1 cup water, to mix with care,
- 2 tsp gelatin, for a layer to bear,
- 1 tsp lemon juice, fresh or concentrate,
- 2 quarts strawberries, berries to celebrate.
Directions:
- Preheat your oven, three-fifty's the key,
- Grease a 9" x 13" pan, as easy as can be.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, salt with sugar,
- Add melted butter, stir it, don’t linger.
- Press it in the pan, nice and flat,
- Bake for 15 minutes, then cool it—just like that.
- Whip the cream until fluffy and thick,
- In another bowl, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla mix quick.
- Fold in the whipped cream, gentle and slow,
- Spread on the crust; let that layer glow.
- For the berry mix, blend water and fruit,
- Add gelatin and lemon; make it a smooth route.
- Slice the rest of the berries, add them in,
- Stir well, then spread on top—let the fun begin!
- Chill it well, then serve with delight,
