Ingredients:
- 21-ounces apple pie filling
- 4 (8-inch) flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Ice cream and/or whipped cream (optional)
- 6-8 medium apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Prepare the Apples:
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin wedges.
Mix Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and flour.
Toss:
- Toss the ingredients together until the apples are evenly coated.
Cook (Optional):
- If you prefer a softer filling, you can cook the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the apples begin to soften. Let cool before using.

- Spoon apple pie filling evenly onto each tortilla.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on the filling.
- Roll up each tortilla tightly and place them seam side down in a lightly greased 8x8 baking pan.
- In a medium saucepan, combine margarine, sugar, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer the mixture for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the rolled tortillas.
- If desired, sprinkle extra cinnamon on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Serve warm, topped with ice cream and/or whipped cream.
