Ingredients:
- 13 TB butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 TB poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions:
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar and brown sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.
- Combine the all-purpose flour, poppy seeds, cinnamon, and ginger in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-9 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on wire racks.
