Cheese Flan


Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (or Vanilla Bean)
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 5 ounces cream cheese

For the Caramel:

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Procedure:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare the caramel by melting the sugar in a pan until golden, then pour it into the mold carefully to avoid burns.
  3. Blend all other ingredients until smooth.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into the mold over the caramel.
  5. Bake in a water bath for 30 to 45 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; if it comes out clean, it's ready. If not, bake a few more minutes.
  7. Let it cool, then invert onto a plate or tray to serve. Enjoy!
