- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 2 tsp butter or margarine, melted

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch dish.
- Lightly sprinkle the dough with flour.
- Roll the dough to seal the perforations and flatten it.

- Place the apple mixture down the center of the dough, about 2 inches wide.
- Cut 10 slits, about 3/4 inch wide, on each long side of the dough surrounding the apple mixture.
- To braid, fold the strips of dough at an angle across the apple mixture, alternating from each side.

- Melt the butter (do not boil) and brush it over the braid.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- For the glaze, combine powdered sugar and milk in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the glaze over the warm braid and serve.
