Peanut Butter Cookie Directions
Ingredients:
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place oven racks in the upper and lower third.
- In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and beaten egg. Mix well.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of the mixture onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving 1 inch between each mound.
- Flatten each mound with a fork to create a crosshatch pattern.
- Sprinkle coarse sea salt on top of each cookie.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until golden around the edges. Switch the position of the baking sheets halfway through.
- Transfer cookies to racks to cool. Repeat with any remaining dough.
