White Sauce

 White Sauce Directions

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to the melted butter.
  3. Stir until the butter and flour are well combined.
  4. Gradually pour in 1 cup of milk while stirring constantly.
  5. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if needed.
Grandad used to use the sauce on Cauliflower.
