Better Brownies Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix the vegetable oil, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Beat in the eggs until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, stirring until well blended.
- If using, stir in the chopped walnuts.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges start to pull away from the pan.
- Let cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
