Sweet Potato Soufflé
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- In a large bowl, combine:
- 1 large can of sweet potatoes (1 lb. 13 oz.)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 stick of softened butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Mix all ingredients using an electric mixer until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until almost firm.
- Add your desired topping during the last 15 minutes of baking. Enjoy!
