 Toffee Sauce Directions:

  1. Gather the ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 1 cup soft brown sugar
    • 1 cup double cream
  2. In a large saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, and double cream.

  3. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat.

  4. Stir frequently until the sauce is smooth and dark brown.

  5. Remove the saucepan from heat.

  6. Let the sauce stand for 10 minutes before serving it with pudding.
