Yorkshire Pudding Recipe Directions
Ingredients:
- 140g plain flour
- 4 eggs
- 200ml milk
- Sunflower oil (for cooking)
Method:
Preheat Oven:
- Heat the oven to 425°F (fan).
Prepare Tins:
- Drizzle sunflower oil into 2 x 4-hole Yorkshire pudding tins or a 12-hole non-stick muffin tin.
- Place the tins in the oven to heat.
Make the Batter:
- In a bowl, combine 140g plain flour and 4 eggs. Beat until smooth.
- Gradually add 200ml milk, continuing to beat until lump-free.
- Season with salt and pepper.
Pour the Batter:
- Carefully pour the batter into a jug.
- Remove the hot tins from the oven and evenly pour the batter into the holes.
Bake:
- Return the tins to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, undisturbed, until puffed and browned.
Serve:
- Serve immediately or cool and freeze for up to 1 month.
