 Yorkshire Pudding Recipe Directions

Ingredients:

  • 140g plain flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 200ml milk
  • Sunflower oil (for cooking)

Method:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Heat the oven to 425°F (fan).
  2. Prepare Tins:

    • Drizzle sunflower oil into 2 x 4-hole Yorkshire pudding tins or a 12-hole non-stick muffin tin.
    • Place the tins in the oven to heat.
  3. Make the Batter:

    • In a bowl, combine 140g plain flour and 4 eggs. Beat until smooth.
    • Gradually add 200ml milk, continuing to beat until lump-free.
    • Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the Batter:

    • Carefully pour the batter into a jug.
    • Remove the hot tins from the oven and evenly pour the batter into the holes.
  5. Bake:

    • Return the tins to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, undisturbed, until puffed and browned.
  6. Serve:

    • Serve immediately or cool and freeze for up to 1 month.
