 Sticky Chicken Directions

  1. Gather Ingredients:

    • 1 cut-up chicken (or preferred pieces)
    • 1 bottle of Russian dressing
    • 1 jar of apricot preserves
    • 1 envelope of Lipton's mushroom-onion or plain onion soup mix
  2. Prepare Sauce:

    • In a bowl, mix together Russian dressing, apricot preserves, and soup mix.
  3. Prepare Pan:

    • Spread a thin layer of the sauce on the bottom of the baking pan.
  4. Add Chicken:

    • Place the chicken pieces in the pan.
  5. Pour Sauce:

    • Pour the remaining sauce over the chicken.
  6. Bake:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 40 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked.
  7. Serve:

    • Serve chicken over rice.

Variations:

  • Substitute apricot preserves with grape jam or cranberry sauce if desired.
